Adipotide Information & Coordination for Licensed U.S. Clinics
Home » Adipotide
Phoenix Meds Inc. helps verified licensed U.S. healthcare organizations manage the administrative side of Adipotide-related pharmacy inquiries.
Our role includes clinic verification, documentation organization, access to publicly available research and regulatory information, and administrative communication with independent licensed pharmacies. When appropriate, Phoenix can help establish communication between a verified clinic and an independent licensed pharmacy so the licensed parties can review the inquiry directly.
Any decision concerning formulation, compounding, dispensing, availability, or clinical use remains with the appropriately licensed professionals and entities responsible for those activities.
What Licensed Clinics Should Know About Adipotide
Adipotide has been studied as a vascular-targeting peptidomimetic.
Research describes a targeting sequence directed at prohibitin in white-adipose vasculature combined with a pro-apoptotic component intended to affect targeted vascular cells.
Those findings should not be interpreted as establishing an approved or clinically proven treatment for obesity, fat reduction, metabolic disease, or another medical condition.
The sources reviewed for this page do not identify an FDA-approved drug product containing Adipotide.

What the Published Research Shows
A 2011 study evaluated Adipotide in obese nonhuman primates.
Researchers reported reductions in body weight and white adipose tissue in treated animals. The study also reported dose-related changes in renal proximal-tubule function, including increases in serum creatinine, with improvement after treatment was discontinued.
These findings came from an animal model and do not establish human safety or effectiveness.
A first-in-human Phase I study later evaluated Prohibitin Targeting Peptide 1 in participants with metastatic prostate cancer and obesity.
ClinicalTrials.gov lists the study as terminated at the principal investigator’s request, with no results posted.
For that reason, the available evidence should not be presented as establishing Adipotide as a proven weight-loss, fat-reduction, or metabolic treatment.
FDA and Regulatory Context
The FDA sources reviewed for this page do not identify an FDA-approved drug product containing Adipotide.
We also did not identify an FDA-published Adipotide-specific determination establishing eligibility for compounding under section 503A or section 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
That should not be interpreted as FDA approval, confirmation of compounding eligibility, or a determination that a particular Adipotide preparation is appropriate for clinical use.
FDA states generally that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and do not undergo FDA premarket review for safety, effectiveness, or quality in the same manner as FDA-approved drug products.
Phoenix Meds does not make product-specific prescribing, compounding, dispensing, or regulatory determinations. Those decisions remain with the appropriately licensed and legally responsible parties.
Why Documentation Matters
With an investigational compound, the name alone does not answer questions about substance identity, formulation, supporting records, research history, or regulatory considerations. A professional review may involve documents such as:
- substance and formulation information;
- labeling;
- pharmacy or facility information;
- available lot or batch records;
- pharmacy-provided supporting documents; and
- relevant research or regulatory records.
Phoenix Meds helps bring available information together so clinic teams can more easily see what documentation exists, what may be missing, and which questions need to be directed to the appropriate professional. We do not independently test or certify identity, purity, potency, sterility, stability, safety, effectiveness, or regulatory compliance.
How Phoenix Meds Supports Licensed Clinics
Adipotide-related inquiries can involve clinic credentials, formulation records, research references, pharmacy documentation, and questions that require follow-up with the appropriate professional.
Phoenix Meds helps keep those administrative pieces organized.
Our support may include professional and facility credential verification, organization of available formulation and pharmacy documentation, access to publicly available research and regulatory information, and administrative follow-up with independent licensed pharmacies.
This gives clinic teams one clearer administrative record and a more organized way to identify what information is available, what may still be missing, and which questions need further professional review.
